Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps
Sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbs soy sauce
- 2 tbs rice vinegar
- chili paste or Sriracha sauce
- Combine all ingredients; add chili sauce to taste.
Wraps
- 1 pkg soy beef crumbles
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper
- 1/2 white onion
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups grated carrot
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 10 leaves green leaf or butter lettuce
- sesame oil
- Dice bell pepper and onion. Saute bell pepper, onion, and garlic in sesame oil until onions are clear. Mix in soy crumbles and rice.
- Once mixture is heated, add carrots, then prepared sauce.
- Wash lettuce leaves thoroughly; pat dry.
- Spoon filling into lettuce leaves. Serve immediately.
