The 2014 Vancouver Queer Film Festival starts on August 14th!

I’m really looking forward to this year’s festival. Here’s some of my personal recommendations for films I’m excited about:

“The Way He Looks” on Aug 14th and 21st

Very sweet, romantic film set in Brazil. Here’s the official trailer.

“Drunktown’s Finest” on Aug 17th

Tells the story of three young people of the Navajo Nation, including a young trans woman.

“I Feel Like Disco” on Aug 19th

A sweet, awkward, and honest coming of age story set in Germany.
