preview of a new ongoing project: pokemon tarot! here are the first two cards of the deck, plus what appears on the reverse.

-featuring only pokemon from the first 151

-based on the original tarot cards (in appearance and symbolism)

i know a pokemon tarot has been done before by a japanese artist, and i really like that version, but i decided i’d like to do a version that keeps more to the original symbolism of the cards/features only the first 151 pokemon.

sorry for all the watermarks! i know it takes away from the appearance of the cards, but this is the internets. 😛

i’m planning to make physical versions of the cards, but i haven’t done a test run yet, so i’m not sure if that’s feasible/how they will look.  i’ll keep you posted!
